2. Scope
This policy applies to the PriceBench waitlist page. It is a pre-launch interest page; no product or paid service is currently available.
3. Data we collect
• Email address — when you join the waitlist, to send your confirmation and updates. • Hashed IP address — at submission, for spam prevention; the raw IP is not stored. • User-agent string — to distinguish browsers from bots. • HTTP referrer — which channel you arrived from (not linked to your email). • Analytics events — page views and click events (cookieless by default; no cross-site tracking). • Error/diagnostic data — if a script error occurs, with email and query parameters scrubbed.
4. Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6)
• Sending the opt-in email and waitlist updates — your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). • Spam prevention, error monitoring, and cookieless analytics — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)). • Advertising measurement (only if/when ads run and you accept) — consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).
5. Processors
• Google Cloud / Firestore (US, us-central1) — form-data storage. • Resend (EU) — confirmation email. • PostHog (EU) — product analytics. • Cloudflare — CDN and the Turnstile anti-bot check. • Sentry — error monitoring. Transfers outside the EU are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
6. Cookies
We run analytics in cookieless mode, so no consent banner is shown for ordinary visits. Cloudflare Turnstile is strictly necessary and cookieless. If we later run advertising, advertising cookies will fire only after you accept them via a consent banner (Google Consent Mode v2).
7. Retention
• Email — until you unsubscribe, or 24 months from last interaction. • Hashed IP — 30 days. • Analytics — 12 months. • Error logs — 90 days.
8. Your rights
You may access, correct, erase, restrict, object to, or port your data, and withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@wedgelabs.co; we respond within 30 days. You may complain to the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Ansbach, Germany.
9. Changes
We may update this policy; the date above reflects the current version. Material changes are emailed to subscribers.
